What is your profession and why did you choose it?

• I am a financial planner. I chose it because it involved the subject for which I was educated and experienced.

How long have you owned your own business?

• 5 months

What inspired you to own your own business?

• My parents’ ownership of their own business for 65 years.

What might someone be surprised to know about you?

• I am from Cairo, IL.

Do you have a hobby, play a sport or have any special interests?

• I play tennis and like working out as well as traveling.

What job would you be terrible at?

• I would not be a good cook or be good at shopping. My daughter helps me with those things.

Who has impressed you most with what they’ve accomplished?

• My dad because he worked 7 days a week and would stay until late in the evening if he had to. He is one of the hardest working people I know.

Where is the most interesting place you have visited?

• Rome, Italy

Do you have any advice based on your area of expertise?

• Hang in there. No matter how hard the day or task is, keep going.

If you could work anywhere in the world, where would you choose?

• St. Louis, MO because it is a great place to raise a family

What is your favorite restaurant from the St. Louis area?

• Yia Yia’s in Chesterfield, MO. My favorite dish there is the salmon and rice.

What is something you think everyone should do at least once in his or her lives?

• Visit Europe especially Rome.
