Law – I chose it because I have always been interested in governance, politics and espionage. I thought it would be a great education for whatever I decided to do in my career. I never thought I would end up being a trial lawyer but that’s what happened. How long have you owned your own business? I started my firm in 1992. What inspired you to own your own business? I wanted to be self-employed. My Father was a business man and influenced me to do the same. What might someone be surprised to know about you? I have run 5 Marathons all in Boston Marathon Qualifying times. My last one 3 years ago I ran with an artificial hip. Do you have a hobby, play a sport or have any special interests? Bass Fishing is my favorite hobby. I played all kinds of sports, played soccer in college and hockey after college. What job would you be terrible at? Being an accountant. Who has impressed you most with what they’ve accomplished? Chris Kreh, running back for the Marquette Mustangs. In their first game this season, he rushed for 6 touchdowns and 256 yards to beat Lafayette 41-7. Where is the most interesting place you have visited? A trip I took to Greece and Turkey with two of my law school friends. We went to Turkey first, then from there took boats and planes to several Greek islands and then to mainland Athens, Greece. Do you have any advice based on your area of expertise? Never admit anything! Preparation, never get outworked. If you could work anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
